Inspect All Components To Ensure They Are Attached Securely Engine Oil or Fuel leakage (Look For Fresh Stains on Cap / Hose Connections & Ground) Check Sparkplug Boot is Secure, A Loose Boot may cause Arcing & Could Ignite Combustable Fuel and Cause a Fire Ensure all guards are fitted, secure and functional. Do not operate if guards are missing or faulty. Ensure the blade unit has a debris shield, either a bar handle or a U-handle, and is suspended from a shoulder harness. Controls & Safety Devices are Operational & Not Modified in Any Way Handles Are Clean & Dry (For Safe Control) Select the correct cutting tool for the task. Refer to manufacturer’s recommendations. Load the nylon line cutting head only with nylon trimmer line of the proper diameter. Thoroughly inspect blades for damage and cracks.
