STED FORM – BEST PRACTICE UPDATE

Following on from recent incidents with marker boards, we have now reviewed best practices for issue of Sted forms on split isolations.

Where (two) 2 Form B’s are issued for slow and fast lines, The following procedure is to be used as best practice to ensure that there is no confusion on site

If doing slow lines isolation first (1/4 mile earthing) followed a few hours later with fast lines isolation (2 mile earthing)

The NOMI to issue the 1st STED for the Slow Lines only
Once that has been implemented on the Slows, the next STED is to be issued for the Fast Lines (Not both at the same time)
