COLAS SAFETY ALERT – SAFETY BOOTS
WHAT HAPPENED?
Over the last few periods, we have seen an influx in employees rolling their ankle on the infrastructure.
Moving forward can we ensure that all boots are checked at the start of every shift.
Checks are to include general condition, laced correctly using all eyelets.
As a minimum all boots must be steel toe capped with a steel mid sole and have sufficient tread and ankle support.
