As from week 25 (14th September) at 11,00 hours the OLE will be going live from Filton Bristol to St Brides.
This will mean that the OLE will be ENERGISED have a current running through it of 25,000 volts AC and MUST be considered LIVE and DANGEROUS.
From the 14th September The isolations will be taken out by a NOM (UK Rail) and the isolation teams, when taking out the isolations a third road will be taken to act as a buffer road.
A Nominated person will take Form B isolation for the OLE and then will be issuing C Forms to the person in charge of each group requiring a C Form.
This person MUST have OLP/ COSS on their Sentinel card and all cards will be scanned by the isolation team staff when issuing C forms.
All Isolation details (Units/ Live equipment etc) will be referred to by Structure numbers and not mileages.
Important noteWhen handing back the worksite the C form MUST be returned to the NOM as part of the hand back process.
Failure to do so will result in Network Rail having to send out teams to check all areas and account for all staff before any worksites are returned to the operator.
All staff must be aware that although the Filton- St Brides areas are live.
The Marshfield (162m 01ch) to Cardiff (171m 20ch) is still an OLE construction site and will not be working under C Forms or isolation and will operate as normal until the agreed commissioning dates are set.
